​MARCH 13-15

Calling all Riesling lovers! Celebrate International Riesling Day (13/3) with us.

 

“Everything happens for a Riesling”; Riesling has always been an amazing and diverse variety; from bone-dry to lusciously sweet; Riesling ages well and pairs well with most foods because of its diversity. To celebrate we will be pouring 5 different Victorian Riesling wines including some local heroes from Banks Road and Jack Rabbit.

Early St. Patrick's Day Celebration with Irish-inspired cocktails, beers and food!


MARCH 21-23

The 21st is World Vermouth Day. It is a time to celebrate this marvelous invention that has stood the test of time and become one of the key components for any bar or any home drinks cupboard.
 

To celebrate we will be serving three of the most famous vermouth cocktails; Manhattan, Martini and Negroni. 

 

We proudly service a lovely local Dry Vermouth from Leura Park Estate. This dry Vermouth is made with estate grown Chardonnay co-fermented in tank and French oak barrels with selected herbs, spices, seeds and citrus peel. Fortified with a juniper and
rosemary infused spirit. Fresh citrus aromatics, light, lean and herbaceous with anise undertones with a subtle bitter finish.

Did you know that the Covenant Wine Bar is available for private hire?


You can have anything from grazing tables, a sit down 7 course degustation menu to Sunday Roast style sharing menu or stand up canapés. Partnered with Ironbark Catering (the catering arm of the Driftwood Cafe) we can tailor a menu and event to suit your individual needs.

Going out and need to take a platter with you? Let us do all the work for you. Our Cheese & Charcuterie boxes will do just the trick and available in a range of sizes to suit your needs and budget.
